Description

The summoner is a remaster of an older manip I did some time ago. This is a more worked through version, which I personally like more.

I think you've done a wonderful job making the figure look like she 'belongs' in the surrounding area, and the spell effects look great. I really like the contrast of the dark clothing and hair on her to the bright sunlight.

Some suggestions I have for your piece:
If you are going to do a lot of overpainting around the face, I'd recommend going back in with a teeny brush and a dark color and cleaning up some of the small detailed areas such as lips, eyes and nostrils to make them stand out more.
I'd also recommend, if it is your intend to create photorealistic hair, to seek out some hair tutorials on deviantart. I've used many, and they've helped me out a LOT.
I'd also encourage to always bear in mind the light source in your background and make sure you have ample lighting carried over into the figure in your image. For this one, I'd recommend adding a thin strip of light on her face and facets facing top right, where the light is coming from, to give it that extra touch or realism

Happy painting! If you have any questions, or would like some suggestions of tutorials, I would be more than happy to direct you to some, just let me know
